7 Deadly Don’ts of Breaking Up

Lately my Facebook news feed has been swarmed with little pink broken hearts. Since nothing signifies the true end to a relationship like a Facebook announcement, I have collected a list of the 7 Deadly Don’ts of Breaking Up. I would like to have it noted that these are not things I have necessarily done, but a compilation of research from various anonymous sources.
1. Thou shalt not make any rash decisions.
This includes body modifications, tattoos, moving, dropping out of school, or quitting your job. However, I feel the need to …

Artist Interview: Alec Huxley

Alec Huxley of Adult Flavored Pudding (AFP) has propelled himself into the art world. While his portraiture work is mesmerizing, his large photo-realistic paintings of alleyways, trains, and cityscape manage to be enveloping. This kind of range would be impressive for a life-long artist, Huxley has only been painting for 4 years. The driven artist completed all of the pieces featured in D-Structure’s February art showing, The Shallow Space, in a little over 3 months. Recently Huxley participated in the Lower Haight Mural Project. You …

A weekend in the life…

This weekend, D-structure was poppin’ from Thursday to Sunday. We started it off on Thursday night, with the installation of DKNG Studio’s art show, DKNG 100 – Poster and Art Exhibition. Our fearless leader Devon put in the first late night of the weekend , working until 3:30am with DKNG founders and creative partners Dan Kuhlken and Nathan Goldman, taking care of the full install (see pictures below) and prepping for the weekends festivities. The install for this show is easily my favorite one that we have ever done here. It was so well planned out and it really brings the shop to life. Props to Dan and Nathan for taking the time to make the install something really special.

250 Introductions of 185 People, Groups & Things In Movies

I am a crazy movie buff and get a total kick out of that part in the movie where the main character (or not so main character) introduces themselves in a kick ass way. MoPapparani made a compilation video of all these moments. It is pretty epic, to say the least

Banksy Costume: Makes Us Miss Halloween!

Thank you George Schnakenberg for making all of our Banksy dreams come to life with your spectacular costume. I think next year I’ll be the maid sweeping under the brick wall. Wouldn’t that be a task?
