Let me be the first to admit that I tend to have a sick sense of humor when it comes to online videos. Not sick in the sense that I enjoy watching disgusting things or twisted fetishes, but sick in the sense that I get a kick out of the misery that happens to other people. Sometimes I just need to laugh at another person’s expense. These 10 videos that I have compiled for this list are my go-to videos when I need a good laugh, and for those of you who share my sense of humor, I think you will understand me on these ones. These videos are in no particular order. The titles are what they are called on youtube.

1 – Very Painful Bike Faceplant Off Truck

We will start this off with a very simple but extremely hilarious video clip. Some kid who obviously thinks he is a badass (note the sideways ball cap and the, more than likely, very long JNCO shants, that’s shorts+pants) believes that he will be able to pull off what he probably considers a stunt as badass as he is. Let’s just say that it does not go as badass as planned and hilarity ensues. Slow Motion FTW.

2 – Rope Swing Accident

This next video is one of my favorites due to all of the factors that come into play. First, the rope swing, a device that is meant to cause immense amounts of fun but if you watch youtube enough you know it causes immense amounts of pain. Second, listen to the song playing, it’s System of a Down’s “Chop Suey.” What makes this funny is listening to the lyrics right when his swing goes badly. Also note that, had he been alone, he probably would’ve died. He says he didn’t break anything but I think he’s just embarrassed and full of shit.

3 – Japanese Game Show (Quiet Library)

I think that it should be a given that the Japanese know the cringe-inducing yet hilarious video better than anyone. They have practically perfected the art of awesome, so that is why I pick this next one out of them all. The idea behind this one is that they are in a library and can not be loud unless they want to be kicked off the show. So to ensure that people lose the participants must select a card at random and hope that they do not pull the card that makes them the victim of some very cringe-inducing acts. It’s long but worth it. The facial expressions are classics and all I have to say is, “Old Man Bites Tenderly.”

4 – Crazy Black Man

Now for this one the title explains it all, this man is bat-shit crazy. From my understanding this takes place in Las Vegas and this gentleman is very protective of what he believes to be his block. He voices his opinions very strongly and proceeds to, “Show Yo Ass Sumthin.” You don’t need me to explain this one, just watch it. Brings me to tears with laughter.

5 – Samurai Sword Screw Up

This one comes from your favorite late night TV channel, The Home Shopping Network. This one is definitely tame compared to the others but it is still hilarious. From my time spent surfing youtube and watching movies you just don’t fuck with inanimate objects, especially if you are willing to call it (or in this case are about to call it) “indestructible,” chances are it’s not, just look at the Titanic for example, hella people died because some pompous asshole decided to challenge it. The way this situation is handled though, is too funny and it coined one of my and my friend’s favorite catch phrases, “A little piece of that just got me O’Dell.”

6 – Totally Insane Rollerblade Crash

What is totally insane is that this guy thought his little stunt would work out in his favor. I assume he was trying to grind off the top of the roof, land, then grind on the rail from off the second roof. I don’t see how anyone thought this was possible, his friends probably didn’t either and that’s probably why they chose not to tell him. They knew how funny this was going to end up.

7 – Swing on Rope, Ankle Snap

This next one is my personal favorite out of all of these videos. Though it is not for the faint of heart, it is by far the funniest out of them all. The pure misery and misfortune that happens to this kid is too funny for words. The only words that fit this clip occur when his friend says the most obvious and dumbest thing anyone could say in this situation. I’ve watched this video more times than I can count and I continue to laugh every single time.

8 – Grape Lady Falls!

Why is it that when things aren’t supposed to go wrong in a situation, and they do end up going wrong, it makes for some of the most hilarious entertainment known to man? I don’t really care to know the logistics of it but it’s one of those things that always makes for a good laugh. The woman in this video is doing some news report on an upcoming contest involving crushing grapes. Being from Sonoma County myself I have seen people go ape shit over grape crushing but have never really understood it. Well if what happens to this lady happens to most people then I will be attending every grape crushing contest from now on. Best Part: Her muffled screams of agony

9 – QVC Ladder Fall

What do you know? It’s another shopping network failure. Honestly, if these sort of accidents occurred more often on shopping networks I would be much more inclined to buy things. Makes the show 10000x more interesting, and keeps my interest peaked for quite some time. I’ve seen my fair share of people falling on their heads in my lifetime, but this one has definitely got the best sound upon impact. The head smack heard around the world. That’s what I call it.

10 – Man Drinks IPECAC

Going back to what I said about Swing on Rope, Ankle Snap, I might’ve jumped the gun on calling that one my favorite video of all time. The only video that could possibly compete for that coveted spot is this one. Everything about this video is hilarious. First off, the man that is picked for this. I am assuming everyone else around him knew damn well what IPECAC was and what it does, except for this poor man. But honestly, look at how awesome this guy looks in his blazer, slightly overweight, awesome pony tail, and one hell of a personality. The guy who pays him is a complete douchbag but in the best way possible and I owe that man some serious props for getting this guy to drink that stuff. If everything I’ve said makes no sense to you, just watch the video. Warning: If you can’t handle puke DO NOT watch.
